Granite Bay, California native, Lindsey Hernandez has always had a love for art, of all kinds. She has loved the art of clothing for as long as she can remember. Lindsey believes that fashion is an art form in which you can express yourself by what you wear and how you wear it. She has always been drawn to fashion advertisements and the way the photographer crafts the scene to evoke a particular feeling.

In high school Lindsey expressed her artistic interest during her four years of art classes. She took both beginning and advanced photography in high school and is now exploring fashion photography as a possible career choice. Currently, Lindsey attends Sierra College, where she took a career planning class this spring which revealed that one of her top career paths is the fashion industry.

Although she knows that it will be hard work, Lindsey believes a job in the fashion industry would be one of the most enjoyable, fulfilling careers out there. "Having the opportunity to be a part of it right now has been life changing", says Lindsey. The chance to be working on the production side of fashion, she says "has truly been such an honor". As a member of the Couture Connection family, Lindsey looks forward to finding out where this path and opportunity will take her.
